What happens when you give aspiring entrepreneurs and software developers 48 hours to build an app using the latest 5G network? A “hackathon” is a competition where entrants have a set amount of time to create and build an app from scratch and present to a panel of judges for a chance to win cash prizes, as well as meet potential investors and employers.
Together with the team at Cross Campus and AT&T’s Developer Forum we served as the venue manager for the 5G Hackathon in October 2019 that gathered over 200 developers, designers and creators which was a milestone for the company as the event was one of the first in the industry challenging participants to build and test mobile applications and solutions using the AT&T 5G network.
